Try Güllaç like this! 😍 A recipe that will make you fall in love with it even if you weren't a fan...
Ingredients
For the cream: 1L milk, sugar, flour and starch (half a cup of each), 200ml milk cream.
+chopped hazelnuts and coconut
For the layers 8 pieces of güllaç leaves. 1L milk and 1 cup sugar to heat and dissolve in it.
+We sprinkled some more hazelnuts to decorate the top and put cherry jam on top.
Recipe:
Add sugar, flour and starch into 1L milk. When it cooks and thickens, transfer it to a bowl. Cover the top surface with cling film so that it does not crust. When the heat is removed, whisk it with milk cream and set it aside.
Melt 1 glass of sugar in the other 1L milk by heating. While it is hot - warm, arrange the güllaç leaves on the baking tray and soak each layer with 1-2 scoops of milk. After 4 layers, add half of the cream we have prepared and spread it. Sprinkle Nutart chopped hazelnut on top. Add 4 more layers of soaked Güllaç leaves and pour the rest of the cream on the top layer, spread it nicely and sprinkle coconut on top.
Cool the Güllaç in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, then slice and decorate as you wish. (We sprinkled some more hazelnuts to decorate the top and put cherry jam on top).
